Asking For Help Does Not Make You Weak

It has been quite awhile. In light of recent events, I wanted to do a short bit. It’s unscripted, it’s kinda rambly, but I like to think it came from the heart, and I hope it’s stuff that somebody needs to hear.

I still don’t know what I want to do with this show, but I have a few ideas. Hopefully we’ll see a return soon. Until then stay safe, and remember that we all need a little help sometimes.

5 - A Group Setting

In today's It's Different for Everyone, Joe is joined by his friend Katie/Fangz as she tells the story of her experiences in group therapy during her high school years. High school tends to be a time in many peoples lives where the first signs of depression start to show their ugly faces. Group therapy is one of the many possible treatment methods for mental health issues such as depression.

4 - An Anchor

In another solo mini-episode, Joe talks about two of the lowest years of his life and how an upcoming video game of all things became the anchor keeping him alive. From the existence of the game, to the messages it taught upon being played, Joe talks about what the game is and why it means so much to him. Sometimes all you need to get through a rough time is to get an anchor in your sights and crawl your way to it until the rough times have passed, and trust me they will pass.

Extra music in this episode is Life Will Change (Instrumental) and Beneath the Mask (Rain) from Persona 5.

3 - Dysphoria

In this week's episode, Joe brings on his very first guest. Andrew comes on to tell us their story about dealing with gender dysphoria and the depression and anxiety problems that came with it. This is our first guest episode of many more to come, so we hope you enjoy and look forward to more!

2 - Angst or Not?

In this week's episode, Joe describes the first memories he has of dealing with depression and social anxiety before he really even knew what it was. From grades dipping down in elementary school to what he and everybody else assumed was just teenage angst over a dumb high school crush.
